CELEBRATION OF PAULINE’S LIFE SERVICE: will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, IL.  with Bro. Bill Ikemire officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County.

Pauline Leffler, 88, of Willow Hill, IL passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL.

Pauline was born on February 14, 1927 in Crawford County, IL north of Oblong.  She was the daughter of William Henry “Willie” Weck and Edith (Mann) Weck.  On June 28, 1950 she married Clarence G. Leffler and they were married for 65 years.

Pauline was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and doted on her precious great grandchildren as well as a homemaker.  She was a member of Mound Community Church, enjoyed flowers, gospel music, knick knacks, stuffed animals and she enjoyed collecting salt and pepper shakers.

Pauline is survived by her husband Clarence Leffler of Willow Hill, IL; four children and their spouses Linda and Gary Chapman of Casey, IL, Daniel and Anna Leffler of Willow Hill, IL, Judy and Brian Neer of Lawrenceville, IL and Gary Leffler of Oblong, IL; 7 grandchildren Stacey Inboden of Lawrenceville, IL, Dusty Inboden Harrison and husband Jake Harrison of Bridgeport, IL, Stephanie Leffler of Casey, IL, Mary Leffler of Casey, IL, Daniel and Laura Leffler II of Willow Hill, IL, David and Desiree Leffler of Paris, IL and Matthew Chapman of Casey, IL; 6 great-grandchildren Dallas and Jenny Fancil, Clarence and Blossom Johnson, Christopher Leffler and Gabriella Harrison; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law Roy and Jo Weck of Oblong, IL and Robert Weck of Robinson, IL; 3 sisters and 2 brothers-in-law Betty Bond of Oblong, IL, Karen and Bob Diekman of Rapid City, SD and Carol and John Heesen of Baraboo, WI; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law John and Elsie Leffler.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son Larry Joe Leffler; an infant granddaughter Dorothy Leffler; three sisters Marjorie Jourdan, Maxine Weck and Ethel Baker and two brothers Donald Weck and Bill Weck.
